It makes sense. So, in any case I will have to figure out offset angle experimentally, I mean, there is no way to do the calculation on paper and then just drill?
The problem is, the nearest professional luthier is in a town 400 km from me, so I`ll have to drive my bass there to do the job and I`m afraid there will be no time for experiments. At first, I thought, he`s just gonna drill the hole at certain angle and then I`ll choose the right length of endpin by myself.
