Nut Width

Is there a standard fingerboard width at the nut for a 3/4 size instrument? Not the neck thickness, but the width across the fingerboard/neck at the nut.

at the risk of sounding unhelpful, I don't think so. Every bass I've ever played is different. Some basses will have fingerboards so wide they could accommodate a 5th string, and others will have necks of such a thing width they could be (and may have indeed been) 3 string basses. I'm sure the luthiers here could at least give you a ballpark range, though.
