Problem with C-neck

i've just had a C-neck installed on my bass, its also came with a few problems. the 1st and main problem is the E gate. ive had it 24hours and the rubber has split twice. does any one know where i could buy a better gate from? also its very hard to tune all strings now, the E worse so the tuning doesnt slide in pitch it jumps! any help?

Most people call them C Extensions. Why don't you contact the person that made/installed it?

Try replacing the rubber stopping surface with leather - it s much tougher.
