Reattaching a neck to the body?

After my jazz band class in school today, I leaned the bass into the corner of the wall like my teacher has instructed me to do (even though I never liked to, for the reason you'll know soon), and as I left the room, it fell over, and the neck partially detached from the body. I saw no cracks or anything in the wood, and though I'm sure it got a few nicks, the bass is crappy and covered in battle wounds anyway...

Since the neck and the body are two separate pieces of wood, surely this is reparable? How much money should it cost, how long will it take, etc.? I'm pretty sure I won't be forced to pay for it, but I want to know how guilty I should feel.

Where do you live? We might be able to recommend a luthier in your area.
