Revolution Solo II cable repair

Hello,

I dont know how this happened, but the connection between the cable and the 'bridge piece' of my Revolution Solo II is in very bad shape. Sometimes the sound cuts off or i'll have a big hum... As you can see on on the pictures the cable is almost completely disconnected.

I know how to weld cables, but i dont know to fix this. Anybody knows hos the "wooden piece" of the pickup is made, and how i could possibly weld it back? I have a gig on saturday...

Thanks

I'd contact Upton and see what they could do for you first before you do anything to it. They might replace it for you. From your photo it doesn't look like an easy fix, even if you had soldering skills.

As for saturday... well you don't have a backup pickup? Borrow someone elses? Get by? Microphone?

+1 if you can go that route. You need stuff to do it right.

I repaired one of mine out of necessity after snagging it on something (gig that night - no backup) by carefully splitting it open with an xacto. It appeared to be glued with hhg. Made the repair, removed the old glue and reglued with fresh hhg. It's worked perfectly since then.

There is a piezo inlaid in the top half of the wooden "sandwich."
