Robert Riccardi:

Wow what a great experience!First off I don't play the Bass at all,I am a musician but I play the saxophone. My 15 year old son loves the Bass!!!!He's played in school since the 3rd grade and he plays and owns an electric,I got him an upright for christmas a laminated one got a good deal.I was told where I bought it that it was set up properly, but to my suprise it was not.The end pin was jammed, and the bridge seemed to be like an inch off.
I was introduced to Mr.Riccardi by my son's bass teacher and I gotta tell you this experience was awesome. You will never meet a nicer man who actually does what he says he's going to do at the price he say's he'll do it for.He diagnosed these previously mentioned problems and discovered another with the sound post.He assured me that fixing these things would make a world of difference. You know what they did! This instrument sounds like night and day different!!!
With the new sound post a little bridge work and new end pin the sound is much fuller throughout the instrument. My son was ecstatic with the sound he can now make.
I've delt with instrument repair men for most of my life and for my horns it took me years to find someone who was good at their craft and honest.I got it the first time with the bass I think!!!.
Has anyone else used Robert for service and how was your experience?
