Setup!

Just got my bass back today from Nick Lloyd and the difference is amazing. Much louder and more resonant with string heights that are actually playable on a glass-like fingerboard with a substantial endpin.

In short, kudos to Nick.... http://www.nicklloydbasses.com/

Great to hear success stories like this...

Just fyi, string height is normally measured from the bottom of the string, not the top - for uniformity, as string gauges vary from brand to brand. And, it's not really necessary to go the the 10th mm - .5 will suffice. As weather and humidity vary from day-to-day, week-to-week, the string heights can rise and fall a few 10ths here and there.
