Standard places to take measurements

Just got my first DB yesterday. I'm going to take some measurements today so I can keep track of any changes and get it back to its current position if I adjust string height, etc. I'm assuming you measure height at the nut and relief using feeler guages the same way you do with electric bass. Is there a standard place to measure string height? End of the fingerboard?

when you say "string height", it usually means at the end of the fingerboard. The distance between the fingerboard and the string. Measure on both the E and the G-string side.
