So, what kind of strings would anybody reccomend to reduce this buzzing? Don't worry about what I like (what do I knwo, I've only ever played 2 sets of strings in my life) I'm looking into buying a few sets of strings, and any reccomendations for higher-tension strings would be really helpful. So far, I've only ever played metal strings, but guts or synthetic would be ok if they solved this problem. I'm not worried about it being too hard - my school's bass has so much string tension, I'm used to it

Good news, I think I'll be getting an adjustable bridge for it! The strings are a nice height for arco, but just don't have the right feel for pizzicato, so the adjustable bridge looks like the right choice for me
