Thanks for the tips tip for my Engelhardt! - All Hail Bob!

I wanted to thank Bob Gollihur for his tips on replacing the rubber tip on the endpin of my Engelhardt ES-1.

I went to the local Ace hardware store and after spending about $12.00, I now have 4 sets of tips for my bass.

I had seen Bob's advice at his website. I bought a 4 pack of 1/2 in. hard vinyl tips #5015623 and a 4 pack of 5/8 in. rubber tips #51239.

I slipped the hard tip on first and then the larger rubber tip over the hard tip. It works like a charm!

I did the same thing with my Engelhardt right after I got it several months ago; also I took the pin out and with an electric grinder ground off the two little retainer pins on the side and then inserted the endpin into the bass backward, and put the rubber tips on the flat round end.
