Thinning A New Bridge
Another tool question for the luthiers...

What do you guys use to thin a new bridge blank? I've done it a couple of ways, but I just finished fitting one for a friend and I used my new Lie-Nielsen low-angle block plane...jeez, what a breeze! Is there an even easier way than that?
