Does anyone know if Jacques Gagnon (Cremonasia) is OK? He's not responded to my emails or phone calls in the last three or four weeks. Not a squeak. So I'm worried that he's sick, or worse. But maybe he's just on holidays ...

| | | | I have ordered things from him last year July but I still haven't got my stuff yet. He called me before and told me there were some problems, he promised to send my order to me before July but of course I haven't got anything. |

If you need to do or follow-up business with him, I suggest you call and speak to him in person, evenings Philllipines time, as email and fax are unreliable.

Is David Cobb selling them?
What is the story and how much are they going for? |

It was a terrific bass - great tone and volume - but back problems forced me to shift to a smaller instrument. I know both Volker Nahrnamm and Kolstein have a couple of his basses. The problem w JG is consitency - the bass can either be very good - or not. If it's one that's been at reputable dealer it's probably worth a look. |

Jacques is having some difficulties. You have to be persistent. |

I was foolish enough to order some stuff from him nearly a year ago and had the last sign of life three months ago. He does not answer the phone, doesn't reply to emails, nothing.

I received my bass bag after several months hassling. It is a good bag, but the customer experience was terrible. I wouldn't send him anything more than a deposit with balance due on receipt of goods. And then, you're risking your deposit.
I'd love to be proved wrong.
Send him an email from another email address, asking for a quote on a new bass - and see how fast he responds!
Jacques if you're reading this, feel free to correct the record. Somehow i don't think that will happen.
