Where would you take a violin?

I am from the other side of Talk Bass, I usually just lurk over here. An acquaintence of mine asked where he could get some repairs done on a fairly expensive violin, the tail piece has a problem, I believe. We are in the Orlando-Daytona Beach area of Florida. I would trust The Guitar Factory in Orlando, for any work on my electric, but due to the holiday no one is answering the phone. In an area that has 3 Guitar Centers, two Sam Ash stores, two George's and at least a dozen small shops, there must be at least one reputable stringed instrument luthier, any suggestions?

Thanks,

John

yellow pages

Look in the yellow pages under musical instrument repair.
If it's a good violin it should only be seen by an expert in that field.
