Yeah, I saw that too. The sad thing is that someone's actually going to buy that piece of rubbish.

25,000? Go over to the DB side and ask how much a really good instrument costs.
Although in that EVH guitar you aren't paying for the quality.

Genuine 'piece 'o crap' for sure. You could go to a competant luthier and have one custom-made for a fraction of that rip-off price. If a speculator/collector ends up buying this, I'm hoping they'll end up eating it in the end. 'cuz it all comes down to greed IMO.

I always found signature guitars to be overpriced and not always that great. I realize they are from popular artists, but they should be reasonably priced and not for super rich people.

That EVH guitar is a piece of crap, and looks like crap. With 25,000$, you could buy at least 15 Strats or superstrats

You think DB is expensive, go over to the pipe organ side and ask how much a good set of pipes costs!

That's what I was thinking: "Man, I could get a fully carved bass, an awesome bow, and some sweet strings and still have money left over."

Not only is the price tag plain stupid... But who wants a guitar that has reflecters stuck all over the back?

I suppose your guitar playing-innovations in modern music and your hit records are out there and we've just missed them?

It's a collector guitar...of which there are many styles to choose from. Not too mention alot of fine off-the-rack stuff that is better than its ever been for a fraction of the cost. But this one is unique in its own way.

The EVH guitar will probably hold its percentage of value better than many custom made instruments...why? Because that Frankenstonian hunk 'o' wood is "limited".

From the reviews I have read, and the description in the link, I'd love to play one for as many minutes as I could just to try it out. If I had the means, would I buy one?

Only if I thought tonally that I could not enjoy playing music without it.

Only $750 a month for the next 34 months (minus interest)... What a bargain. Eddie is great, but I could build a guitar that looks like crap for a lot less money.

What's up with the 350 reviews that can't be read? I mean how many times can you say "that's stupid!" or "no it's not!"

I just appreciate the audacity and moral corruption that goes into making something like that. Anyone who covets a replica deserves to be swindled out of $25K

I find it funny how on the EVH Replica website, they say that it cost Eddie no more than $150 to build his. But we have to pay $25,500 for the same thing? Well yeah, lots of research would have been done to get this guitar looking as close to the real thing as possible... But $25,000 worth? I don't think so.
