I was one of the groomsmen at a wedding and I got a $25 Amazon Gift Card as a gift. I'm not sure what to buy with it. I want to get something bass related, but I just don't know what.
I use flats, so I don't need strings. I was thinking about getting a clip-on tuner. If I settle for that, which one? At this moment in time, I don't have GAS. I'm stumped. I really don't need anything. Is there something that's cool to own?

If you play it right, you can get ones that are a buck or two each but still count towards the free shipping, and get $25 worth of them. Or you could get a stand or two so that you're ready the next time you get that horrible combination of GAS and money.

OH GOD I'VE TURNED INTO MY FATHER!! | Me too. But my father, not yours.
Really is better to hold off. I've been in your situation many times, and find when I don't want something I usually just wind up throwing the money away and not even getting all that excited about what I'm getting. Much better to wait and be able to knock $25 off the next thing you REALLY want.
And if ya can't do that then explore non bass related things. The clip on tuners suck, got a pretty good one as a gift and it was tough to get any accuracy out of it. And buying straps is like buying socks IMO. No fun. If you've got one that works it's all you need. |

I settled for that tweed strap and I still have 8 bucks left. I do need pickup screws though...
