Sign in to disble this ad
my younger brother was watching a jonas brother video on youtube so i thought i'll check em out too since ive heard about them before. and OMG!! it was just unreal
am wondering how does such stupid madness get so big!? they were playing the wembley frickin stadium live and i couldn't believe myself.
even if one says they aren't musically terrible and they can write and play their own tunes which is what the kids want but hello where is all the sense gone?

Two words: Disney Channel

If Disney can make an animated mouse one of the top celebrities in the world for the past 70 years, they can certainly do it with a three-brother-boy-toy-pre-adolescent-fantasy.

Absolutely +1.

I have to watch it with the Jonas Brothers though. If my kids ever caught me playing their stuff or watching them on TV, they would shoot me on sight.

This is the reality right there.

My brother and I were having this discussion. He's a drummer. I said I would be too happy to be playing in their band, making money, playing bass and touring the world. That's the dream! Who cares that it's the Jonas Brothers?!?! It's pop music. Put it on your resume and move on when it's done. He didn't see it that way and said that he wouldn't do it for any amount of money. Somehow I doubt that he would say that if the offer came to him.

It's gotta be better than my day job and pays way more!

Exactly. I was in Atlanta,s arena downtown while Their band was warming up and I gotta say their hired band is good. When the bros. came out, there was some kind of contest winners there and those young girls screamed so loud I had to go outside. Marketing at its finest.

The Beatles had hords of screaming girls following them.
Still, people buy their albums today, and they are considered music legacy.

Not for nuthin but if the price of a gig at WS or anywhere else for that matter is being a vapid boy-toy in front of the entire planet, I'll just sit here in my beer stained Tshirt...smelly old cigar burning in the ash tray...moth eaten old cat next to me...redneck trailer park and hang out with you guys if that's ok.
