in this case the question is....

Sign in to disble this ad
What would be a good practical case for a bass? I have a hard shell and i liek it but i want to free my hands and be sure my bass is safe. i like the look of some of the back pack cases but i can't see myself spening $300+ for the high end ones...I also looked at these roadrunner cases online for under $100 but idk if they are a safe way to carry my bass. i am also looking at these cases cuz i play to play more at skool and the storage that these cases have is a plus cuz then i wouldn't that to bring the extra backpack i usualy bring with that holds my cables, tuner, straps, music, and w/e else i might need.

this is mainly for my ibanez BTB so it has to be a larger case too...

so basically what i am asking is...What is the best soft backpack or sling style case?

thanx

My local shops sells these for $100. They are superior to the Road Runner bag in every way.

Is that supposed to be good or bad?

I bought one of these about 6 months ago. Liked it so much I bought 3 more for my other basses. Lots of room inside and out. I'd trust it to protect way more than a soft case, or even a hardcase for that matter. The size is slightly bulkier, but it doesn't bug me at all and is lighter than any of my HSC's. Bought the first one for $58, but it seems they've gone up since to $79. Best case deal out there IMHO. There's even a version with wheels.

Lots of threads on cases in Miscellaneous, which is where they belong. Moved, and bumped to the top.

I have a Warwick Rockbag that came with a Corvette Std. 5. When I parted with the bass, I wouldn't part with the bag. It's a good bag.
