I recently read an article in a magazine where Liam Gallagher of Oasis was crowned greatest frontman of all time, I don't really agree (He should be somewhere very high up though).
My favorite frontman has got to be Matt Bellamy of Muse, who is your number #1 Frontman, and what would you say makes a good one? |

No offense to Oasis fans, but "greatest front man of all time?"
Without even trying, dozens of more flamboyant, iconic, groundbreaking, and important figures come to mind. |

Jim "Dandy" Mangram is a close second.
Then Roger Daltrey. |

I'll give a tip of the hat to Axl as well.
Alice Cooper, Ozzy Osborne, David Bowie, Robert Plant, Chrissie Hynde, Elton John, Roger Daltrey, Sting, Bono, Kurt Cobain, Mick Jagger...
Man, I could go all day.
And not mention Liam Gallagher once. |

Even some of the metal guys like Vince Neil and Bruce Dickenson deserve mention here.
But Liam Gallagher? The publication must have been the Oasis Fan Club Monthly Magazine.

They are great musicians, I love watching them, they are just as good and usually better live than on album, they love their fans, they're really nice, and they know how to fire up a crowd like no other.
