15 inch jensen speakers

Hey there fellow bass players. I am a proud owner of a 2x15 fender cab built in the 90's I believe. I want to replace the speakers and here is why. I play through a 50 watt 69 bassman and I really go for that vintage thumpy driving tone. Right now I play it through an old 2x15 acoustic cab and it sounds amazing! but sadly the cab isn't mine I have to return it to a friend soon. When I play the bassman through the new fender cab it sounds pretty harsh and nasty. Soooo, I want to swap out those 15's for something more flattering, maybe a lower wattage? Or a different type of 15? I don't know....anyway all I know is that my current 15's sound like a ratty fart, and I gotta swap them. Any help would be much appreciated.

No idea. You probably want to post this in the Amps section of the forum, not here. You might get more helpful responses then the one I just posted.
