I love this guitar, it's a friend of mine's, I'm borrowing it from him. I want to buy it, but I have no money.

It's white (aged to a creme color) with black pickguard, hardtail bridge, rosewood fingerboard and the large 70's headstock... which is my fav headstock, I dont like the 50's small headstock.

So, what do you like better, small or large?

The Richie Blackmore signature Strat has the 70's headstock, and I love it. I don't mind the normal headstocks, but I hate the 50's style headstocks all together.

I found some pics of what the guitar looks like...
(I had to make a page, cause they were too big to upload here)

I think they are both fine, but my favorite is the 70's style.

The smaller 54-68 style is so much more graceful.

Sort of like the pre 1969 Gibson headstocks. The smaller headstock just looks so much more elegant and graceful. The big ol' post-1969 paddle is not.

I love the big chunky 'uns. They're sweet.

I like the smaller headstocks myself.

The bigger ones just look kind of goofy.

The small ones are much more elegant.

Actully the small headstock was 54-65, not 68. The large lasted from 65 to 81-2
