Funny stuff. May I also nominate "The Pina Colada Song"?

"The wife and I are having trouble in our relationship, so I put an ad on CL looking for something on the side. One important quality she should have is a distaste for yoga. Funny thing is, someone answered the ad, and it turned out to be my wife. Instead of putting the last nail in the coffin of our relationship, we had a little laugh. Gee, I never knew she liked pina coladas, and getting caught in the rain."

The actual name of that song is "Escape". Interestingly, the same guy, Rupert Holmes, wrote this song - "Timothy" by The Buoys about a questionable tale.

Color My World. I played it at least once a night when it came out and for years afterwords. I hate that song.

I never wanted to hear most of the songs on the list in the first place, let alone hear them again.

I think I liked it the first several hundred times I played it. I was playing full time in the olden days and we often had to play it more than once per night by request.

"One In a Million You" by Larry Graham is pretty dreadful. I got a lifetime's worth of it when it was out. No more, please.

Hang on wait. It's "do you like piña coladas?"
I always thought it was "do you like bean enchiladas!"

I kid. I must admit I do Consider that song a guilty pleasure. I can't help it. It just cracks me up too much.

"I Will Always Love You" covered by Whitney Houston. I would wager if someone measured the duration that she hits the same basic note in "I-I-I (will) ALWAYS (love) YOU.. I-I-I...(etc.)" throughout the whole song they would find it last LONGER than the whole song.

Some of those on the list aren't that bad. There's way worse out there.

I disagree with several of the songs on the list. They aren't my most favorite songs in the world, but I wouldn't mind hearing them again (the ones with which I disagree, that is). Thank goodness none of Adele's songs are included on the list.

Any of Chicago's sappy ballads from "10" onward just turn my stomach.

I got close to many beauties dancing to that song at weddings back in the day.
