Fender music gear prices are starting to come back down for new gear as well. I noticed several manufacturers are dropping prices, not just Fender.

You're probably going to find some really good deals on music gear for a while because of the economy. Many people (including me) were or are forced to sell their gear at very low prices to get money to pay bills.

The price on that Highway One does look good.

If I'd been one of those people who bought a new Fender right after the prices went up, I'd be peeved to see them coming back down. That would really suck.

Wow, that Highway One is a great deal at $430 with Fralins.

It's certainly a buyer's market.

Yes it is a buyers market. I have plenty of money, but since i am in college i never know when i will need it or how far it goes. Thats hard knowing i could buy another bass but holding off .

Right now in the classifieds there is a fender jaguar in great shape 500$ shipped and there is a geddy locally to me for 550$ deals like that are hard to push aside.

Fender should give those people who bought right when the market went up , a certain amout back. Maybe throw them some product or something. If i owned a company keeping customers happy would be my main objective, but i realize fender is not owned by one indivdual in fullerton anymore and it turned into a machine basically.

I doubt many people bought those Fenders at the High Price mark.

I'm not sure exactly how long the prices spiked, but if anyone did pay those prices and bought from Music123 or Musiciansfriend, etc., they may be eligable for a refund based on the 30-day price matching policy. Some places had up to 45 day price matching.
