Dr. John gets my vote. Rush has enough money that they could just build their own Hall Of Fame.

Tom Waits is not exactly a rock and roll performer but it's cool to see him get some recognition,
Neil Diamond?!?! What's rock and roll coming to.........

Come on now, It's the Rock and Roll hall of fame, They prolly think Rush is Jazz...... I wouldn't take anything that group of phoneys says seriously.

Imagine, an award for people who don't play in a band???? That just them moving into a place where soon they can justify giving themselves some awards.

The RRHF is such a joke, that NOT being inducted can be worn as a badge of honor. I would think by this time, RUSH would rather never be inducted with all the other so-called "ROCK" acts.

Neil Diamond is about as lame as it gets, especially since there are plenty of real rockers out there who haven't been recognized at all.

Rush was inducted into the Canadian Music Hall Of Fame (which covers all styles of music) in 1994.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Canadia...c_Hall_of_Fame

However, they are way overdue for the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame along with many others who deserve to be there more than some who have been inducted. I have no issues with the latest list of inductees. It is about time for Alice Cooper Band. Neil Diamond has quite a track record as a songwriter of big hits as well as a performer.

This pleases me. Dennis Dunaway was a BIG early influence.

No Rush, no Todd Rundgren....

Next year, Justin Beiber and Taylor Swift, most likely.

I think 40+ years ago I had Monkees trading cards. Are the Monkees in the R&RHOF?
