Love a lot of other bands on your list, but Killdozer also had such a great sense of humor. AND their frontman was also the bass player.

Killdozer is made of awesome, easily one of my absolute fave bands ever. Been a fan since Burl was released. I actually got to meet them once after a show. It was after they reunited in '93 and were touring for Uncompromising War on Art Under the Dictatorship of the Proletariat. I told Michael Gerald he was my inspiration for playing bass, he looked at me and said "I hope I didnt inspire you to buy that stupid hat" and walked away. Sometime your idols are not what you hope. The new guitarist Paul Zagoras on the other hand talked to me and my friend for 2 hours and fed us falafels and beer!
The dude was cool.
