Schism - Tool......lol, that's the bass......that site site was a load of fail when that other "50 Greatest Bassists" poll when the guy from Slipknot made it in the top 5, and Billy Sheehan was #11...

It's cool Plug in Baby got first. Definitely was one of the first riffs that came to my mind. That said, I only knew a handful of those songs.

The fact that Mind Eraser, No Chaser is on this list makes me very happy.

The lower parts of the list were not making me very confident, but the top of the list it got much better. I think "Most Memorable Riffs of the Decade" would be a more appropriate title, though, and there is still too much crap permeating the list.

My first reaction when I read this thread title was, Their were fifty great guitar licks since 2000? After reading the article, I suspect my first reaction was correct.

The fact that The Darkness was on the list throws all it's credibility out the door. I was happy to see Alter Bridge on the list tho.
