50s rock artists whose careers were reborn in the 70s

I thought this might be a fun continuation of the other thread, but with this one, instead of a star becoming a "pop sensation", I thought it would be more logical to see 50s rockers whose careers were "reborn" in the 70s and took new direction, or achieved new fame/fans.

Elvis is an obvious choice. He went from the young, pelvis rotating rocker on Ed Sullivan in the 50s to the overweight, bloated rhinsestone jumpsuit Elvis in the 70s.

Ricky Nelson did this as well. Little Ricky from Ozzie and Harriet would later become a country and western singer, with his own backing band, The Stone Canyon Band, which featured some of the premier musicians in the late 60s/early 70s "California country" movement. He even changed his stage name to "Rick", grew his hair out, had a Garden Party, and jammed with members of the Burrito Bros and Poco.

Ronnie James Dio started his recording career in the late 50s with do-wop type groups like Ronnie & The Red Caps and then had a few other groups like Ronnie & The Prophets and Elf before joining Rainbow in the 70s. Now, that is a huge genre change from the 50s to 70s.
