666 in Gibson Serial Number

Sign in to disble this ad
Ok guys, I'm a bit freaked out right now. I'm currently borrowing a VERY nice Les Paul Standard. I know, I know, it's a guitar. Shoot me. Anyway, I decide to look up the serial number out of pure boredom. I read about halfway through the serial, and enter those numbers. They last two numbers are both sixes. I think to myself "Watch the next number be a 6." It was . I may be a bit superstitious, but it's still kinda freaky . Anyone else have 666 in their serial numbers?

I'd be more afraid of the ingrained "circle" of fifths lol.

the numbers are not bad at all even in the catholic christian way , just read the scriptures and you'll see, some people gave it a bad word but is very lucky number just google 666 and sun and kaballah a very good number in kaballah and gematria, also with the 33 is very auspiscious even most in the chinese numerology, and return a good instrument cause of this is childish , for me is a sign of very good luck and fortune

In Nevada, a non-vanity license plate is three numbers, dash, three letters.

I actually saw 666-DVL a couple of years ago.

Being driven by a little old lady.....(OK, I made this last part up. )

But you'd think they would watch for certain designations like that.
Can you imagine if a member of the clergy, or just a highly religious person were randomly issued that plate?! Yikes.

People make too much of numbers whether it be because of religious or superstitius influences. Come on man this is the 21st century, and were still not over this hump?
