Just goes to show you that kids don't need kid-sized guitars. That V guitar was bigger than he is.

Should have let him play bass at the same time. He might have played it better than the other guy lol

I could hardly tell if he was singing in English or Japanese. Guitar playing was great for a 9 year old.

Actually I thought whoever those two guys backing him up were, did at least as good a job as Aldridge and Daisley on the original track.

Of course they didn't get a lot of help from Rhodes, whose sense of time was... well... "fluid" to say the least. This kid has it all over Rhodes as far as the time feel.

Eleven posts above mine and no one asked what you were doing watching the Ellen show?!?!? OK, all of you, man cards, right now. Turn 'em in!

Actually, I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and assume you were looking at Youtube videos and NOT actually watching Ellen.

EDIT - I didn't pay close enough attention to the all of the posts above mine. My apologies to EagleMoon, who can watch Ellen all she wants.

He didn't sing any worse than Ozzy did...

I've got his drummer right here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AMnwOZA0DQk

singing wasn't stellar, actually nowhere near, fell out of key during solo, but other than that, wow!

Suburban mothers that regiment their kids into being "speical".

OMG. So cute when he started singing !

And yeah that guitar looks big on him since he looks to be on the short/small side of 9 years old.

Better to see these kids get good at guitar than at Guitar Hero (cue flame war).

That guitar was almost as big as him! He did a great job.
I think English is hard to speak (without a "heavy" accent) after having learned an east Asian language.
Great that he got meet the Oz (good thing he wasn't drunk...)

His bends were off, he fumbled the beginning of the solo, and he shouldn't be allowed within 50 feet of a microphone. Other than that, it was okay.
