As an AC/DC fan, I've treated myself to this (warning: Lots of pics!)

Sign in to disble this ad
I'll let the pictures speak for themselves:

Yes! The deluxe edition of their latest offering, "Backtracks". It's an awesome package. And one of the coolest parts is that the amp actually works! I couldn't resist the urge to plug my Rickenbacker and play some "Problem Child", "Ace Of Spades" and Kiss' "She".

The package's full contents:

- Collector's edition box set including a 1-watt guitar amp (non-working knobs -but they turn-. Built-in overdrive at a fixed volume).
- 3 CDs: Studio and live rarities.
- 2 DVDs: "Family Jewels" Disc 3 & "Live At The Circus Krone" 2003.
- 164 Page Coffee Table Book.
- Rarities 180 gram LP.
- Original memorabilia reproductions: “I do it for AC/DC” button, Angus "Beanie" sticker, Sounds "Lock Up Your Daughters" tour flyer, King street studio track sheet for "Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap" multitracks, Bon Scott temporary tattoo, "Moneytalks" 100 dollar bill, a guitar pick, three fine art litographs, "Let There Be Rock" European tour poster.

So, if you are a hardcore AC/DC fan, don't hesitate getting this. I think they put a great deal of effort compiling this great set. Santa brought some cool stuff for me on this Christmas!

I've been a hardcore fan for 29 years, saw them for the first time last month in concert. They deliver the goods, it was awsome. Funny, I didnt even buy a t-shirt, just not me I guess. I have fried a lot of home stereo speakers listening to these guys.

Very cool! Im not much of a fan, a lot of their music sounds the same to me, but I cant deny what they have done for music over the years!

And nice Ric, that thing never gets old.

Cliff Williams is one of the first bassists whose lines I actually noticed, as a guitard back in 7th grade. Very cool set!!

That is very cool...reminds me of some classic album included paraphernalia. BTW...Back in Black beginning to end...you can't get any better IMO (although there are other great ACDC albums, hell I even like Blow Up Your Video). Congrats and Merry Christmas.

179 USD plus shipping to my country. Not a small amout of money, but I think it's a fair price for what you get.
