Access Stage 5 Bass bag

I've been looking all over the place and I just can't seem to find any! Elderly has them listed but when you put them in the cart they're out of stock. The only other alternative seems to be the Access site where the prices are 50% more than anywhere else. Can anyone help me out?

Awesome bags. I have one I'll never sell. It may not be much help, but Corner Music in Nashville used to sell these bags. Call and ask for JD and he may be able to hook you up.

What's the difference between an Access Stage 3 bag and an Access Stage 5 bag? I'm not sure which I have but I may be willing to sell it to you if you're interested as I'm not using it these days.

I couldn't tell you. Access seems to change their designs often but this is the Stage 5:

Ah, that's different from the one I have so mine must be an Access Stage 3 bag. The one in the photos looks a lot like a ProTec Contego bag. I have two of those and I like them a lot. Great protection!

I can help you out. I used to work at Daddy's here in Boston, who is a dealer of Access bags and cases.

They should have the Stage 5 bag in stock.

FYI I think the new stage 3 bags are better than the stage 5. The 5 is really heavy and the straps are detachable via metal clasps. If you are looking to carry is on your back, forget it, it's too uncomfortable. The new 3 bag has magnets on the built-in backpack strap that hold them against the back of the bag while being carried with the side handle. Either way, both are nice.

I ended up settling on a Mooradian over both of the Access bags, but like all things YMMV.

Hopes this helps!

PS If you want, PM me and we could work something out on getting a bag out your way.

Nice looking designs, but not a well-run company. I wanted to buy one of their bags a few months back. Could not find it anywhere. Called and emailed to ask how to buy one and got no reply back.

That's the feeling I got from them. The bags are nice enough that I still want one though, lol. Even before this they've been hard as hell to get in contact with.

I asked them about their Stage 5 bags in their Facebook and got a reply the next day. Seems like more responsive there. They mentioned that they are working on a revised version of the Stage 5, which should be available in the end of 1st quarter of 2012.
