ACDC fans, do you dig Airbourne?

If you enjoy the sound of ACDC, it isn't because you are looking for complex musical ecstasy. There is something about that sound that I enjoy... reminds me of growing up hanging out with my uncles and what not. Just pure fun rock'n'roll, and I dig it.

Have you guys heard of Airbourne? Group of young guys who really stay true to the ACDC code of rock. I like their sound, wondering what others think.

Very good band. Saw them live. They rock.

They are the heir-apparent to the AC/DC style of rock.

They make no bones about being huge AC/DC fans. All power to them.

Surprised there isn't more of them. I remember some friends and myself thought about doing it

I'm a fan of AC/DC but have never heard of Airbourne. I'll check them out!

I saw them live, and almost went deaf. They turned up painfully loud, and I hated it. Anyone else experience this event, or was it just at the venue I saw them at?

I saw them twice. Beer, loud music and lots of jumping around.

Maybe the most fun band around at the moment.

They ARE rock n roll, PERIOD! Everyone who doesn't know what it was like to see a rock show before the grunge era needs to see these guys! Whiskey drinking, unison head banging, jumping off amps... every song has a dramatic ending... FANTASTIC!

I remember hearing MANY guys screaming stuff like "Now that's F***ing rock n roll!" and I was one of 'em, LOL.

Spot on! Pure rock n' roll at its finest. Saw them on 13 of November in Helsinki. No tricks, no gimmicks, just pure ENERGY. Had a pretty sore neck in the morning.

That's the way I want my rock n' roll

Never experienced that with Airbourne. They kept at a decent level every time I saw them. I mean, being rock n roll, they were LOUD but not to the point of not being enjoyable.
