I have a friend looking for an acoustic amp for a violin....Just thought I'd throw it out to some musicians. What do you recommend?

What size venues and what musical styles? Budget? In general, I'd recommend a good PA as option 1. Almost no violin players I've mixed carry their own amp. But I'd look at Daedalus, AER, Acoustic Image, and Euphonic Audio for starters if they just have to have an amp. After that, maybe some keyboard amps? If a separate cab is on the cards, I'd add Accugroove and Acme to the list.
