acoustic guitar+electric strings=wierd??

Hi guys, I just wanted to know if anybody puts electric strings on their acoustic guitar? Is it a yes or no to you? why?

You would need much heavier gauges to make it even considerable. Remember, light strings on an acoustic are 12-52, which are considered heavy for electric guitars. 13-54 is more like it.
