| Add Marshall Distortion in front of Fender Amp or just get a Marshall? I have a great sounding Fender Blues Deluxe with Celestion Vintage 30 speaker and NOS tubes. I play lots of blues, southern rock & country with a Gibson Les Paul through this amp. I love the clean tone and when I push it a bit, those old tubes start to break-up a bit. Sound amazing. Occasionally, I'll run a tube screamer in front of it. Lately, though I've been jonesing for a Marshall tone too. Ideally, I'd love to run a pedal into the BD that gets me there, but haven't found one. Any ideas or should I just suck it up and get a Marshall amp too? If so, what Marshall combo would get me closest to the sweet clean tone of the Fender? |
