Add Marshall Distortion in front of Fender Amp or just get a Marshall?

I have a great sounding Fender Blues Deluxe with Celestion Vintage 30 speaker and NOS tubes. I play lots of blues, southern rock & country with a Gibson Les Paul through this amp. I love the clean tone and when I push it a bit, those old tubes start to break-up a bit. Sound amazing. Occasionally, I'll run a tube screamer in front of it. Lately, though I've been jonesing for a Marshall tone too. Ideally, I'd love to run a pedal into the BD that gets me there, but haven't found one. Any ideas or should I just suck it up and get a Marshall amp too? If so, what Marshall combo would get me closest to the sweet clean tone of the Fender?

If you're looking for a relatively cheap place to start, Tech 21 has a series of "Character Pedals" that are intended to emulate classic amp sounds. The VT pedal is much loved on this board for its ability to mimic the SVT sound.

The "British" pedal listed, appears to be a Marshall simulator. I have no first hand experience, but would imagine it would be cheaper than the cost of an amp.
