I especially like the part where james says, "You know how bad I used to write songs before I was sober."

I like some of St. Anger, but the songs just go on and on with the same riff. Which is fine, if the song is three to four minutes.

The lyrics that James writes now are really horrible. They are so cliche.

Metallica put together some good riffs and tunes for St. Anger. Problem is, they followed the nu-metal stop-and-go style of playing, threw in some cliche lyrics and overextended some of the songs. Let's see if having Trujilio in the studio will help out the next album...
