Advice for selling gear?

I'm looking to sell the Fender, and I was wondering if TBers had any advice for a first time seller?

I'll probably trade through the trading post, a SA trade service paper thingy, and I'll have some help from my grandpa with TTP, because grandpas are awesome, but I was after some more specific instrument selling advice if there is any.

And if this is in the wrong spot, I apologise. I feel a bit retarded today.
