I live in the sticks in Mendocino County, Calif. and it's hard to find local people to play with. Any advice on doing online collaboration? I checked out several web sites such as eJamming.com and Audio Fabric but there don't seem to be many players signed up. How does one do this? I can record my bass via DI or mic or both and create output files to WAV or MP3. I do not have a MIDI pickup. I do have wireless broadband, which is a direct line-of-sight link to the local ISP (DSL-like performance). I'm willing to put in effort to make some music with a virtual band but need help starting. Any advice would be appreciated! Thank you.
