After 11 years on talkbass, I really hate to admit this...

...but, I don't know what those little envelopes at the front of the threads mean. And I don't know where the legend is that explains them either.

Ok, so an open envelope means unread posts in a thread, closed envelope no unread posts. After a thread "heats up" (a certain number of replies - not sure how many) then it changes to that reddish color. I think that's all.
