Let us all be honest about this.
Girls like it when you play them something romantic.
aspecialy when you do stuff like that on stage and dedicate
the song to them in front of a large croud. This is al great and beatyfull but most romantic songs I know are played on a acoustic guitar what can cause some problems when you only know how to play bass.
maybe you guys know some romantic songs to play on the bass ?
I've been searching to a nice romantic song to play for ages!
please help me ?
thx,
daniel

And an open B string will make their eyes open even wider.

"Good" by Better Than Ezra is another solid candidate. Also a mere four chords. |

Me, I wrote a guitar song for someone I love. Of course, it was targeted specifically at her; wasn't universal. The guitarist, he decided to be smart. He can just change up the name in the song, and BAM!, new use. So, whenever the lead singer sings the guitarist's ballad, he asks some random girl in the crowd what her name is.
He dedicates the song to her.
He sits right next to her, or stand right next to her.
And he makes her melt like butter.
Guaranteed CD sale.
My song, however... I preface it during the intro to the song, and I can see the face of every girl in the audience turn mushy (good thing) while I introduce it. And since it's a song devoted entirely to the upstroke on verses, it tends to get a lot of dancing. Whichever girls are closest to the stage usually ask specifically if we have a single of it. When we say no, 70% of them buy the album, resulting in more profit.
I love human nature. It's so easy to manipulate people once you understand enough of it. |
