AKG SR40 Wireless.... help!

Sign in to disble this ad
ok, I have the AKG SR40 wireless guitar bug for my rig... I've searched all over the web and this site for an answer but I cannot find one...

Is there a rackspace where I can insert this into? It's about half the length of a traditional space. Do they make a single space where I can mount this in between two 1/3 spaces orrrrr any ideas? Thank You guys in advance, and I hope i've been clear enough.
BTW, I'm new to this site and it's the greatest thing that's happened to me, I've spent about 3 hours/day on here for the past 2 weeks! good stuff guys...

If they don't make a rackmount kit for your model receiver, you can usually use a 1U steel shelf like this: http://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/VTB1RK/

Mount the receiver to the shelf, add rack screws and you're done. Just be careful where you put screws through underneath. You don’t want to damage a circuit board inside the receiver.

You might consider making a strap-over arrangement (horizontally) instead. That way, you won’t have to deal with the innards of the receiver.
