AKG WMS40GB GuitarBug Wireless: Acceptable?

It's not diversity... what exactly does diversity do? Can someone explain? Would it be OK to use for bass?

I have the opportunity to buy this UHF wireless for $100 used. Should I take the plunge?

I have a friend who just bought a bug (not sure if it's the same model # and mfr) and he uses it for church for his bass on sundays. He spent around $250 for his, but he loves it.

Everyone seems to like it, my only concern is that the model I'm referring to doesn't have diversity... and I don't even know what that is.

If I remember correctly 'true diversity' means the receiver has two antennas!!!! Gives you better coverage/chance of your signal being received!

I have the WMS40 with the PT40 standard body transmitter pack - instead of the bug!

Can't comment on the bug perfromance...but mine works better for bass than guitar!
