It's time to replace our '94 Chrysler Town & Country mini-van.

My wife is the principal driver and despite my best efforts to convince her that we need another van, she's not buying it. She wants something smaller and cooler looking. She likes the Murano, but I'm not paying 20 grand for an '04 @ Carmax.

So my question is. What vehicle best fulfills her need for smaller/cooler and my need for equipment schlepping? I'm thinking something in the 10-15K range.

I like the Dodge Magnum, but I don't think you'll find one for 15K.

I would go with a Volkswagen Golf. Nice and small, but has a LOT of room. A friends band has an '03 Golf and manage to fit all of their gear into the car (drums, 3 amps, 2 basses and 3 guitars).
