I like the Rainsong guitars - very loud and punchy. Sure, they aren't super warm, but that's not the tone they are going for.

CAE also makes some nice ones.

I believe Rainsong made a single acoustic fretless bass which is supposedly killer, and CAE is possibly making one as well.

True, the only thing this guitar is probably good for is playing acoustic-jams in the rain forest.

Actually playing at our local annual town festival in light rain and high humidity we were very happy that he had it.

the sound reminds me of those plastic guitars we would get at Christmas time when we were little kids.
