+1 on the Jaco song mentioned above.
A fast bass line that comes to my mind that always blows me away when I hear it is he bass part about 5˝ minutes into the jazz/fusion song "Froth" on Steve Lukather's second solo album (also released as a Los Lobotomy's album). John Pena is playing a 32nd notes pattern (in about 80bpm) on his fretless that suits that part of the song perfectly. By the way, the whole album is worth checking out. Although it's a guitarist's solo record...
