That's too bad - I love the older Allman Brothers music.

He was a nice guy, I worked onstage with him a few times at ABB shows. Great player too.

RIP Dan.

Rip Dangerous Dan

I knew that he had been really sick for quite some time.
His playing always tripped me out because of how he tucked his pinky and played with 3 fingers.

This is sad I was just playing one of my favorite rock songs Whipping Post by the Allman brothers.

Just working on Good clean fun myself. The ABB is one of the most underrated bands out there. I've always heard some of there music through the years in a backgound sort of way, but never really listened to it until recently. My God talk about amazing musicians and the amount of layers they would put in their music. Incredible........RIP Dan.

Saw him with the ABB, Gregg Allman Band and Dickey Betts Band. Great guitarist! Sort of a fusion Southern rock guitarist. There is an inexpensive video out of the 88 Gregg Allman Band called I'm No Angel. Not very long, but fine music. Miss you Dan!
