Heck, I didn't know that there was a German version.

Do you have links to clips so we can do a comparison?

The modern English electro historical jazz classical funky version I downloaded off of a Russian MP3 site.

Definitely.

Which is different from what I remember during high school. Maybe it was the German version that was popular back then?

Rock Me Amadeus

It's all about the German version!

And while we're at it, ditto for 99 Luftbalons.

I didnt realize that Falco did an english version. I thought that was the group After The Fire that did an english cover. I like the Falco version much better.

I think maybe you are right. When I ponder long enough it seems like part of the coolness of the tune was that part of it was in German.

But the other one I am talking about was also on his 'greatest hits' album. It's almost like an extended dance mix version. It is the Saleri version, whatever that means.

It's a 16mb file. And pretty long too.

PM me for a link if anyone's interested.

I enjoy the "Dr. Zaus, Dr.Zaus" ripoff from the Simpson's PLANET OF THE APES:THE MUSICAL starring Troy McClure. Whom you may remember from such musicals as...

I prefer the movie version. One of my favorite films of all-time.
