That's a great story about your singer. Thank goodness he kept his wits...

But to answer your question... most of the guys I've been in bands with were more like the guy in the other car.

The people in my band are good people, and also good musicians. I'm proud of that. No need to have some crazy/high bar. Just sane, normal, decent people are reason enough... ...and is an achievement in and of itself.

My band covers the traditional, Eddie Cochran version of "Summertime Blues," and one night at the end of the song, when we're about to play it out, my guitarist rips into The Who's version and solos for a full minute. It was awesome and it got the girlies screaming. So proud.
