Another "top 100" for us to rip apart. This time: Best British Albums

Its a joke IMO. I mean to even place the Streets album in there, nevermind above Wings and Blur and The Who.

And to not even include Led Zep until 41, is surely blasphemy.

I cant really complain with Stone Roses at number 1, but i personally would have put Revolver.

Also, im really please to see Van the Man in at number 4. Finally some justice for the old irish Sod in a main stream music poll.

I liked the Streets album, and Blur's and the Who's...*Gasp* I'm a Poser....

The Kinks are much much too low, they should at least be in the top 20. I also think that "The Queen Is Dead" should be where The Smiths' s/t is and then no more Smiths' albums...their full albums weren't that good. The Jam is too low and where the hell is Costello's "Armed Forces"?? Also, can't find the Buzzcock's "Singles Going Steady" anywhere...for shame.

/pretentious ripping.

hmmm...

Is it just me... or does anyone else find it weird that "piper at the gates of dawn" (at number 25) was put well before "dark side of the moon" (at number 63) ??...

...i personally thought darkside was alot better, but thats just me...

..kinda dissapointing bout Led Zeppelin though.. especially cause Rod Stewart was put at number 34!!! Whats the world coming to!!

Revolver makes many lists as the #1 Rock album of all time.

I agree with Portishead on the list, but no Jamiroquai?

The people who kept DSOTM on Billboard for about 15 years
would tend to validate that, I certainly agree, though
it is getting overplayed now.

My Generation? Before TOMMY or LIVE AT LEEDS.
Tommy is not even on the list, unless I need glasses.

Did I miss CREAM? The Yardbirds? Fleetwood Mac.
hmmm ...

No Cure on the list. The guys at the radio station I listen to were pretty upset about that.
Revolver should be #1. DSOTM should be #2

I also don't see why P.I.L. is so high.

I never cease to be amazed at how the Stone Roses manage to always do well in these sorts of polls.

Overrated IMO (and I used to be a fan!)
