So, the net is filled with tabsites, but do you guys know of any good ones with notations? Im trying to improve my skills on score-reading and it would sure help if there would be to have some stuff to train on.

Lucas Pickford's site has some but that is about all unless you are willing to buy the music.

Not much left any more. Thanks to those bad people.

I had about four or five sites including Lucas Pickford's site saved and they're all gone now.

Not using torrents and such, I didn't find a couple songbooks, not including Pink Floyd, Led Zepplin, The Beatles and such. If you catch my drift...

I went to archive.org and found more of his transcriptions.

The site has archived his site dating back to 2000.

Thumbs up

Thanks fo all the info, Im starting my raid on Lucas Pickfords site What a shame all of the sites have been torn down. Transcriptions like these would be of great help to many, i'd say.

Yvon, that would be awesome, altough i dont know where you could place the stuff...

Jamerson and Jamiroquai notations would make my week, think ill have to get myself a copy of the Standing in the Shadows of Motown: The Life and Music of Legendary Bassist James Jamerson book

If you're interested in Jamerson just get that book. It's pretty much the best you'll find. Transcriptions, a play along cd and some great stories.

I used to look for sheet music when the p2p stuff was good, but even then it was mostly real book stuff. Not too much for rock or R&B. The best I've seen for R&B was a site called "my favorite bass lines" The guy had a thing for Duck Dunn and transcribe a lot of his stuff.

Tis now all but a memory.
