and anyways, Ron Carter was playing with Tribes, Donald Bryd, Ramsey Lewis and Lonnie Liston Smith got down with Guru on Jazzmatazz.......I could go on, but anyways, cool
MPC's are dope - going to get one someday - but as a musician, I love Reason, cause you can sample, drop in your bass lines (through rewire) and the soft synths are no joke -
seratto is pretty cool - my crew, we do this thing where I make a break with some real basic key hits on it, but it's mostly just drums - then I give the DJ a bunch of sounds that are in whatever key it's in, and then live, I play the bass over the break while he scratches in the sounds I gave him and it's all in key - I'm waiting on some video footage of the last time we flipped it like that, I'll post it when I get it back, but people bug out over it, it has it's own sound |
